Just to say I got the mounting blocks today. They are great, exactly what I wanted :-) … We have two horses, one who is 17 hands and the other a pony who doesn’t do standing still!
I was looking for a mounting block for ages. They are an everyday horsey thing and yet it was really hard to find one that was tall enough, didn’t blow over and which could be supplied nationwide. The blocks I found were either too flimsy for my neds clumsy hooves, or were massive wooden ones which were collection only about 300 miles away. Or they were just very expensive for what they are.
I found Horse Blocks via a recommendation on a horsey internet forum. I was still suitably hard to impress, until I looked at the website and the detail and pics. I liked the fact they sold basic ones at very good prices and also heavy duty ones, still very reasonable priced!. I had lots of boring questions about sizes of steps etc and all of these were answered quickly and in detail.
I ordered 2 of the heavy duty blocks, one for the stables and one for the entrance and am really satisfied with them. We are on the edge of the Cairngorms, and these blocks are solid as a rock, they ain’t blowing away anywhere!! And there is a good choice of colours, and speedy delivery.
Overall I have received excellent service and would be very happy to buy again, though I don’t think I will need to as I think the steps will last a horsey lifetime!

I was really desperate for a good solid ‘reasonably’ priced mounting block after my lovely gelding had put his foot in the last one and smashed it. My last block was one with open sides; a bit dangerous if your pony decides he isn’t going to stand still, luckily he was not hurt. I went on Horse Blocks and found one. Full of questions I telephoned the company who gave me all the information I needed to make the decision to buy. The problem was I wanted the block ASAP!
Well, that’s just what happened - it was delivered the next day by hand because I lived fairly close to the company and I am delighted with it. The two step block is sturdy but not too heavy and very well made. I can recommend Horse Blocks to anyone who, like me, needs a helping hand to get on a horse, because they are solid, they stand firm not rocky like my last mounting block so less chance of a mishap.

I needed some mounting blocks after my last one cracked, but I also needed some feed bins and some kind of storage box for my rugs. Not knowing where to start, I went on the internet and ended up finding Horse Blocks, so I contacted them for prices. They were really helpful and I ended up ordering 2 mounting blocks in pink and purple, and also some round bins with lids that I am planning on using for feed and water. I also found a pink storage box that is brilliant and is ideal for my rugs, it came with a lock and key fitted and there is no way that water and vermin can get in so i’m chuffed to bits! The overall service has been great, I am very happy with the quality and the prices are very reasonable so I can definitely recommend them to anyone.
